Description:

The Illinois Student Ministries internship is a 10-12* week program available to any college students who have completed their first, second, or third year. It is a highly administrative internship, focusing primarily on the planning and coordinating of state-wide summer camps for students in 1st-12th grade.

Applicants must:

     -have completed at least one year of college.
     -have great people skills.
     -have good administrative skills.
     -be attentive to details.
     -have a desire to learn and be taught.
     -have initiative and the ability to self-motivate.
     -have a great attitude.

Internship details:

Though it is an unpaid internship, each intern will receive a weekly stipend for necessities. Each intern will also receive a scholarship upon the completion of the internship to be sent to the college/university he/she attends. Room & Board and meals are provided.

Due to the large workload we incur during camp season, all interns are expected to be available and present for the duration of the internship, except for any time granted off by our offices.

*It is a 10 week program, but can be adapted up to 12 weeks to accomodate most colleges/universities' requirements for credit. Talk to your school's internship coordinator for specifics.
